DR. JEFF TIMKO
Dr. Timko graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1973 and established his practice here in DeLand in 1976.
His community involvements include past chairman of the Volusia County School Board.He has also been past president of the DeLand Chamber of Commerce, Leadership DeLand Advisory Committee, Leadership Florida Association and Board member of the Deland Rotary Club.
His professional affiliations include the Florida Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association.
He is also a member of the AOA Contact Lens Section and the AAO.
DR. CADY
Dr. Cady graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1973.
His community involvements include past president of the Ormond Beach West Rotary, Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Ormond Beach Art Museum and Memorial Gardens Board.
His professional affiliations include the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association
He is also an AOA Contact Lens Section Member and a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
He is an examiner for the AAO.

DR. CHARLES HEACOCK
Dr. Heacock graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1985. He completed his training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Family Practice Residency.
Dr. Heacock joined Total Vision in 1987. His practice emphasis is on Family Practice and primary care which includes advising people regarding vision problems, contact lenses, allergies, dry eyes and eye infections. He also provides evaluation and management of glaucoma, cataracts and retinal evaluations for diabetes and macular degeneration.
His professional affiliations include the Florida Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association and he is currently the president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry.
DR. PHILLIP L. STEPHENS
Dr. Stephens is an Honors graduate of The Citadel in 1985. He recieved his Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optomerty in 1989.
He completed a Fellowship in Ocular Disease and Glaucoma from The Omni Eye Center, Atlanta, Ga. in 1990. His Professional affiliations include The American Optometric Assoc., The Florida Optometric Assoc., Southern Diplomat in Glaucoma, and is also an AOA Contact Lens Section Member.
Dr. Stephens' community involvement includes, The New Smyrna Beach Chamber of Commerce and Southeast Volusia Kiawanis Club. He has been in Practice in New Smyrna Beach since 1990.
DR. DUSTIN RAMEY
Dr. Dustin Ramey Dr. Ramey was born and raised in Port Orange, Florida. He graduated from spruce Creek High School and attended the University of Central Florida. He later received his Doctorate from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry.
He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and the Volusia County Optometric Association.
Dr. Ramey is board certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. He has been practicing with Total Vision Associates since 1998.
His community involvement includes past president of the DeBary/Deltona Rotary Club, West Volusia Chamber of Commerce and Daytona Young Professionals Group. He is also an active member of Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach.
In his spare time, Dr. Ramey enjoys anything water related. However, saltwater fly-fishing is his passion. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and good friends, exercising, and traveling abroad.
DR. KIRSTEN WILGERS
Dr. Kirsten Wilgers graduated from the University of Florida in 1997 and then received her Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2001.
Born in DeLand, Dr. Wilgers was a Total Vision patient for years before she earned her Doctorate and joined the practice in 2001. She has worked at all the affiliate Total Vision offices and opened the Total Vision office in Port Orange in 2003.
Dr. Wilgers has served as president of the Volusia County Optometric Society and is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
She is an active member in the Port Orange/South Daytona Rotary Club, Junior League of Daytona Beach, Krewe of Amalee and the Port Orange Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Wilgers has also served as past Dr Wilgers at microscope board member of the Port Orange/South Daytona Rotary and Bert Fish Medical Foundation.
Dr. Wilgers enjoys being an active participant in her community and forming lasting patient relationships based on trust and clear communication. In her free time, she treasures the many joys of motherhood and spending time with her husband, Rhett.
DR. ELIZABETH KESTER RAMEY
Dr. Elizabeth Kester Ramey, graduated from the University of Florida and then received her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.She completed her residency training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and continued service in the VA system in Baltimore, Daytona Beach, and Orlando prior to joining Total Vision Eye Health Associates.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Kester is board certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. She has published articles in several optometric journals and has served as a peer reviewer for medical journals.
Dr. Kester is an active member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach and a member of Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys outdoor activities including swimming, biking, running, and competing in local races.
DR. J RYAN TIMKO
We are proud to announce the addition of Dr. Ryan Timko to Total Vision Eye Health Associates in DeLand. A native of DeLand Florida, he attended DeLand High School and later completed his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Connecticut.
While at the University of Connecticut he was a scholar athlete and played 5 seasons on the Uconn football team where he was voted co-captain his senior year. He then completed his doctor of optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Timko’s specialty rotations were in ocular disease, contact lenses and pediatric vision development and therapy.
Prior to joining Total Vision he has been practicing in Sarasota, Florida in a large ophthalmology optometry practice specializing in pre and post op care for cataract patients, primary care optometry, contact lenses and pediatric exams.
Dr. Timko is a Florida board certified optometric physician and a national board certified optometrist. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Timko currently lives in DeLand, Florida with his wife Crystal and their two boys Colby and Haden. Dr. Timko and family enjoy the outdoors, camping, boating and spending time together.
DR. NICOLA GOUGH
Dr. Nicola Gough is a graduate of University of South Florida and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She completed Residency training in Primary Eye Care with a specialty in Traumatic Brain Injury, Low Vision, and Ocular Disease at the San Diego VA Healthcare System.
Dr. Gough is a native of Edgewater and graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. She discovered her passion for optometry in 2006 while shadowing Dr. Phillip L. Stephens. She went on to work as a technician of Total Vision NSB, solidifying her love for the eye care profession.
She has a passion for volunteer work and enjoys being active in the community. During the summer months of optometry school, she travelled to Grenada and Nicaragua with the SVOSH organization, providing free eye care to those in need.
She has volunteered in multiple vision screenings and Remote Area Medical exams in Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida.
In her spare time, she loves travelling, attending concerts, drinking craft beer, water-skiing, running, and weightlifting. Most importantly, she loves spending time with friends, family, her Fiancé (Ross), and Boxer (Rocky).
Dr. Gough is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Her professional interests include binocular vision, pediatrics, ocular disease, contact lens, dry eye, and family eye care.
DR. McNEELY
Dr. McNeely is a native of Savannah Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Nutrition Science. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015, graduating Cum Laude and class valedictorian. She went on to complete a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Dorn VA medical center in Columbia, SC in 2016.
Dr. McNeely is a member of the American Optometric Association and Florida Optometric Association. She is also a candidate for Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Corey, reading, spending time at the beach, and playing tennis.
